It was chanted to the cheer, “I must, I must, I must increase my bust.” Judy Blume admits on HuffPost Live, however, that this particular exercise doesn’t work.

But she did tap into the belief of preteen girls that it’s desirable to have big boobs. Note that preteen girls need to wait until after puberty to determine whether they want bigger boobs. Their boobs might grow big on their own.

  5. Hold the dumbbells shoulder height with your palms facing forward.
  6. Punch your right fist in front of you and slightly to the left so that your hand is in line with your chest’s center.
  7. Turn your palm down as you swing your arm.
  8. Bring your arm back to its starting position.
  9. Repeat the motion with your left hand.
  10. That is one rep. Do two to three sets of 12 reps.
  11. Do this exercise three or four times a week.

Several herbal supplements firm your breasts and make your breasts larger. The claims for all of them, however, are general. They are not proven scientifically. The claims they make are based on anecdotal evidence for how to make your boobs bigger.

The following herbs women use to increase their breast size do not have any negative side effects documented. In fact, they may produce some positive side effects, such as decreased PMS symptoms, heightened sex drive, better mood, improved skin, shinier hair and stronger nails.

Saw palmetto: Women use this to increase breast size and as an aphrodisiac.
Dong quai: Women use this for PMS symptoms and for menstrual cramps. It affects estrogen and could help enlarge breasts.
Wild yam: Wild yam is used instead of estrogen therapy. It helps with vaginal dryness, menstrual cramps and PMS symptoms. It can also increase sex drive and breast size.
Damiana: This herb is primarily used as an aphrodisiac and to increase sex drive. Women take it to improve mammary gland development.
Passionflower: This is used to help with insomnia, nervousness and anxiety – more on sexual anxiety. It can also alleviate menopausal symptoms, and it produces a feeling of well-being. Some women take this to help increase their breast size.
Blessed thistle: Women use this to promote breast milk and to relieve menstrual pain. Some women take it to increase breast size.
Red raspberry: Women take this to promote breast health, to help with heavy periods and to ease labor and delivery pain.
Senna: This herb’s main use is to treat constipation. Senna is used to increase the effectiveness of other herbs.


If you are still wondering how to make your boobs bigger, think about this. Birth control pills sometimes make your boobs grow bigger. How much depends on you and on the type of pill you take. The birth control pill contains estrogen and progestin, hormones that can cause your breast tissue to grow.

Generally, the higher the hormone dosage in the pill you take, the more likely it is to increase your breast size. Some common foods that you can easily find might make your breasts larger. Give these foods a try to see whether you notice a difference.

Milk: Hormones found in milk can be responsible for increasing breast size. Cow’s milk contains estrogen, progesterone and prolactin for milk production.
Seeds: Seeds, such as flax seeds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, boost estrogen. That can have an effect in increasing your breast size. You can sprinkle seeds on all types of food.
Nuts: Nuts, such as cashews, peanuts and walnuts, contain fat and protein, which could make your boobs grow bigger. Instead of going for a bag of potato chips, grab a handful of nuts instead.
Seafood: Certain types of seafood, such as shrimp, mussels and oysters, have high levels of manganese. This increases sex hormones, and that can help grow breast tissue. They may also be aphrodisiacs.
Soy: Soy contains the hormone phytoestrogens, which can lead to breast growth. You can find soy in soy nut butter (usually near the peanut butter at the grocery store), meatless burgers, instant oatmeal (look at the ingredients list to see whether it contains soy), soy milk and tofu.
Tofu: Tofu contains estrogen and is high in protein. Try substituting tofu for meat to see whether you notice a difference in your breast size.

Meat: Eat lean meats for the protein they contain. Protein can lead to growing bigger boobs.


Green papaya, while not a common food that you can find at your local grocery store, can be found at Asian markets. Green papaya is known, particularly in China, as a way to grow your boobs.

Papaya helps enhance breast development because of the enzymes and nutrients it contains. Green papaya is not yet ripened and contains the highest concentration of the enzymes you need to stimulate estrogen and prolactin, which helps grow your boobs.

Enjoy green papaya by making it into juice or adding it to a smoothie.

You can make green papaya milk by peeling and then cutting a green papaya into cubes and putting them in a blender with half a cup of milk (dairy, soy or almond) and a fourth a cup of sugar or another sweetener, such as honey or agave. You can also add nuts if you like.

You can make green papaya yogurt by peeling and then cutting a green papaya into cubes and putting them in a blender mixed with a cup of plain yogurt and 2 tablespoons (or to taste) of condensed milk. You can add nuts if you like.

If you don’t like the taste of green papaya, you can buy green papaya powder online. You can stir this in your dairy milk or soy milk, or you can add it to a smoothie.


Many breast enhancement creams do not work to make your boobs grow bigger, and doctors routinely say they don’t work. Some breast enhancement creasms might work for you though.

Look for creams that contain herbs, such as saw palmetto or dong quai. The creams work from the outside in to increase estrogen levels, which could lead to breast growth.
